You can definitely hear some Nick Cave in the voice and that is a big compliment and the production is so polished.

Een duidelijk samenhangend geheel de plaat en productie waar de tekst/zang voorop staat waardoor het een poëtische sfeer krijgt.

Wat een prachtige cd! Bij het luisteren waan je je bij ieder nummer in Ierland, zie je de ruige kust, de pub en de eenzame vlakten. De verschillende nummers nodigen uit tot luisteren en nog eens luisteren. Steeds hoor je nieuwe elementen.

Woorden van hoop, verdriet, verlies en de dood, die werden vertaald naar een verzameling folknummers/soundscapes die traag en plechtig voortschrijden, als een processie door de nacht. Creatures Of Grief & Loss is een indringende, donker-romantische reis.

Een prachtig album. Mooie keuze van songs en teksten, goede orkestratie en ook goed geproduceerd. Ik geniet hier echt van. Ik zal wat publiciteit maken, want dat verdient dit intimistische, intense pareltje!

What a great release! The songs are all moody and the album as a whole really hangs together. Mercy is a great track, the standoutso fa for me. For lovers of Nick Cave in his melancholy moments, David Sylvian in his 1980s-1990s period, and also Father John Misty for those who need a newer reference.
